I’m Abner-a people and urban photographer based in Monterey Park, California. My passion for photography began after my friends bought me a camera for my 40th birthday. I quickly realized that I loved capturing images of people and the city. Having a camera in my hands helps me to slow down and notice a smile, a thought, or a quick glance into the distance. I am committed to capturing these nuances in my photography. They remind me that friends, family, and even strangers, are beautiful and worth slowing down to notice.
